The Doppler effect is the change of the frequency of a sound as the source is moving. After learning about the phenomena called the doppler effect, I wanted to try and see if I could experience it for my self. Whilst a friend of mine was on an electric skateboard, he yelled at a constant tone as he rode past me (I was filming him). Attached are the two video clips we recorded as evidence, one of me recording the video and doppler effect in action, and the other is from a fixed distance from my friend so that we can tell that there is no change in pitch in his voice.
This image is visually showing how the doppler effect works
This is the video demonstrating the doppler effect from an observers fixed positionThis video is demonstrating that the noise produced from the source had a constant tone throughout the recording.
